About CGLee

Christopher George Lee is a Hattiesburg, MS based artist specializing in painting, drawing, and sculpture.

Lee received his BFA from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003 and his MFA from East Carolina University in 2008.

Post masters, Lee returned to Hattiesburg and worked as a shop technician and foundations level art instructor at USM from 2009 to 2013.

Lee left MS in 2013 to live in the rainforest of Costa Rica for a year before returning to Hattiesburg where he spent the next few years working at Mumbling Brothers design studio. There, he helped create custom furniture, trophies, and architectural elements, as well as designed steel sculptures.

Lee now works from his own studio in Hattiesburg. His latest painting series focuses on Red Bluff, near Foxworth, MS. The series utilizes clays and oxides harvested from site then processed into natural pigments used to make the paintings.

Lee is self-represented and takes clients on a limited basis. Inquire about availability:
